Expect notes of Milk Chocolate, Orange, Yellow Plum

Carbon negative coffee

We are thrilled to introduce La Cima, a Regional Plus lot originating from the high-altitude provinces of San Ignacio, Jaén and Cutervo in the Cajamarca department of Peru.

Produced by small-scale farmers dedicated to quality, this coffee is a testament to meticulous processing. After hand-sorting for ripeness, the cherries undergo a controlled 30–40 hour fermentation before being gently washed and dried. This careful attention to detail results in a cup that is exceptionally clean and well balanced.

Expect a comforting, classic profile built on deep sweetness. Notes of creamy milk chocolate and yellow plum form a rich foundation, lifted by a sparkling touch of orange acidity. It’s the perfect daily driver for anyone who enjoys a sweet, full-bodied brew.

Amelia ★★★★★

I was a little skeptical of a field blend from three different regions, but the washed process really lets each smallholder’s lot shine through in the cup. It’s incredibly clean and sweet, and I’ve already gone through half the bag in a week.

Robert ★★★★★

The washed process really lets the mixed cultivars shine—every sip has that clean, bright acidity I look for in a morning cup. I’ve already gone through half the bag in a week, and it brews consistently smooth whether I use my pour-over or drip machine.

Kevin B. ★★★★★

Brewed a cup this morning and the body is impressively syrupy for a washed coffee from such a mix of smallholders. The sweetness carries through even as it cools, which I don't always get from Peruvian beans. This is my second bag and it's consistently satisfying.
